ABOUT ME
MY BACKGROUND
My major is health behavior science and I am in the accelerated Doctor of Occupational Therapy program here at UD in conjunction with Thomas Jefferson University. I have been thankful enough to have grown up around photography my whole life, with my dad being a high school digital photography teacher and a graphic designer. I’ve been exposed to cameras and editing, and I’ve played around with Photoshop a bit, but I’m excited to learn more because I definitely have some room to grow.

MY GOALS
1. GET COMFORTABLE USING A CAMERA MANUALLY
I want to learn how to use the manual settings on my camera, for example shutter speed, so I can take different types of photos by the end of the course.

2. FIND MY OWN PHOTO STYLE
Throughout the assignments, I want to experiment with different photo techniques so that I can start to figure out what kind of photography I actually like and what my personal style of photography is.

3. GIVE HELPFUL FEEDBACK
I plan to participate in the online critiques each week by giving at least two people thoughtful comments and using the photo terms we learn in class in my responses.
